The Palmer Moravian Church offers a variety of worship service times and styles each Sunday morning to meet the needs of our congregation and community. Some people attend the same worship service each week, while others change from week to week depending on their schedule that day.
8:00 a.m. Early Worship Service
Our 8:00 a.m. Early Service in the Sanctuary features traditional hymns, a liturgy, a time to share prayer concerns, and a sermon. Come early and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea and warm fellowship in the Gathering Area before worship.
9:00 a.m. New Horizon Contemporary Worship inFellowship Hall
Each week at 9:00 a.m. our Worship Team featuring vocalists, guitars, and keyboard lead our "NEW HORIZON WORSHIP." This service feature a time for praise singing contemporary Christian music, a time for sharing prayer concerns, a time to listen to the Word of God, and a time to serve through a special weekly mission. Come early and enjoy fellowship and refreshments.
10:00 a.m. Family Worship Service
Our Family Worship Service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary and includes traditional hymns, special music by our vocal and handbell choirs, a Children's Chat, a time to share prayer concerns, and a sermon. A staffed Nursery, with a paging system, is provided during this service for infants and young children.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion is offered in worship on the Sunday closest to Epiphany, the first Sunday in Lent, Maundy Thursday evening, Pentecost Sunday, the Sunday closest to July 6 (Martyrdom day of John Hus), the Sunday closest to August 13th (Renewal experience of the Moravian Church), the first Sunday in October (World-Wide Communion Sunday), the Sunday closest to November 13th (Jesus as Chief Elder Sunday), and the Second Sunday in Advent.
