Palmer Moravian Day School

Palmer Moravian Day School is designed to create programs for children between the ages of 18 months through Kindergarten. Varied experiences, peer relationships, growth and development are focused upon in our program.  It is a positive environment for the development of the children’s self-esteem in conjunction with their respect for each other.  The curriculum is planned to meet the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of the preschool child.

The Palmer Township Community Moravian Church established the Day School in 1983 as a ministry and service to the community.  We welcome people of all races, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age, sex.

The PA Department of Public Welfare licenses our school.  The educational staff consists of the director, teachers, assistants and aides that meet the requirements of the DPW guidelines.  Our school also participates in the PA Keystone STARS program. We have earned a Star One quality rating as a facility that is committed to maintaining compliance with program regulations and to enhance quality learning through Keystone STARS.

PROGRAMS

Child Care
(Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten)
Children can attend hours specified by parents between 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Child Care can be contracted year round, combining a school term from September to June and a summer session from mid-June to September.  A nursery school program is incorporated into each day during the hours of 9-12 noon for ages 18 months – 5 years.  Children are grouped into the Preschool age class based on children turning 3 years of age by September 1st. 

Child Care will also be provided for children that attend a morning kindergarten program at Palmer Elementary School.  If your child lives in the Easton Area School District, a parent may make a request to the School District for their child to attend Palmer Elementary School for Kindergarten.  If approved your child can attend our school for the before and/or after Kindergarten program.

Nursery School (Toddler and Preschool)
Nursery children attend a structured program from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon from September to May.
Two or three day programs are available for children between the ages of 18 months-5 years.  Children are grouped into the older age groups based on children turning 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st.

2 day program: 3-4 years old,
Attends on T & TH

3 day program: 4-5 years old,
Attends on M-W-F
