During times of grief and loss, a church family can be a powerful source of support and comfort.  Please contact a pastor during times of serious illness or a death in your family, so we can offer prayer and tangible support in any way possible.

Funeral and memorial services for congregation members are often held in our church sanctuary with a pastor presiding.  Pastors also preside at funeral services in the funeral home.  During these services, we mourn the loss of someone we love and celebrate his/her life at the same time.  Throughout the service, the message of God’s eternal love and promises to us are the focus. 

Just as many people pre-plan their funeral accommodations, it is also appropriate to give thought to the religious service you would like.  Feel free to contact a pastor if you would like to talk about your preferences that can be kept on file in the church office.  This insures that your funeral service will include the elements that are important to you and will also alleviate some of the decision-making burden from your loved ones.
